He was born in 1958. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Anadolu University in 1984. She received her doctorate in 1991 as a resident in adult psychiatry. From 1991to 2004, she was a specialist in psychiatry, associate professor, second director of the Department of Psychiatry, and finally director of AMATEM at Ankara Numune Hospital.
Since 2012, she has been the director of NPİSTANBUL Hospital Addiction Centre.
