He was born in Istanbul in 1986. He graduated from Üsküdar Amerikan Lisesi in 2004 and earned his M.D. degree from Istanbul Üniversitesi Istanbul Tıp Fakültesi in 2010. In 2011, he began his residency training in the Department of Psychiatry at the same faculty and became a board-certified psychiatrist in 2016. In 2020, he began his doctoral studies in the field of psychosis epidemiology at the School of Mental Health and Neuroscience at Maastricht University and completed his doctoral degree in 2026.

He fulfilled his mandatory state service at the Diyarbakır Bismil State Hospital. In 2021, he began working as a psychiatrist in the AMATEM unit at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital. In 2023, he was promoted to associate professor in psychiatry. He currently continues his research in the areas of addiction and psychosis as an associate professor in the Department of Mental Health and Disorders at Üsküdar University and works as a psychiatrist at NPİSTANBUL Hospital.
