Born in 1961 in Mersin. He attended middle and high school at Tarsus American College. Graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. He did his master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Boğaziçi University.

He is currently working as a physician and psychologist. She works on depression, anxiety, psychosis and especially sexual problems. Her treatments are based on cognitive-behavioral method. He is married and has a daughter.
