He was born in Istanbul in 1984. In 2006, he completed his bachelor’s degree in the Department of Psychology at Hacettepe University. In 2020, he completed the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University with a thesis titled “An Examination of Anxiety Levels in Patients Exhibiting Psychotic Features Compared to Those Who Do Not.”

Between 2007 and 2016, he worked in various departments and with different patient groups at the Erenköy Mental and Nervous Diseases Training and Research Hospital. During this time, he served in the hospital’s inpatient treatment units and outpatient clinic. He also provided individual and group psychotherapy for personality disorders at the hospital’s Erenköy Psychotherapy Center.

In November 2016, he began working at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, and since April 2022, he has been serving as a clinical psychologist/psychotherapist at the Üsküdar University NP Feneryolu Medical Center. He also serves as a part-time lecturer at Üsküdar University.

Over the years, he has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur; in Psychodynamically Oriented Rorschach and TAT from Prof. Dr. Tevfika Tunaboylu İkiz; and in Introduction to Psychoanalysis seminars from the PSİKE Istanbul Psychoanalysis Education, Research, and Development Association; Art Psychotherapy training from Prof. Dr. Nurhan Eren at Çapa Faculty of Medicine; Interaction Groups Training and Supervision from Psychoanalyst Assoc. Prof. Dr. Celal Odağ; long-term group supervision for individual and group therapies from Clinical Psychologist/Psychoanalyst Yavuz Erten and Prof. Dr./Psychoanalyst Mine Özmen; Long-term group supervision for individual and group therapies from Clinical Psychologist/Psychoanalyst Bella Habip; Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) training from Prof. Dr. Nazan Aydın and Specialist Dr. Oğuz Omay; and EMDR training from Roy Kiessling.

His areas of practice include depression, anxiety disorders—such as panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, health anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder—as well as eating disorders, personality disorders, and interpersonal relationships.
