He was born in Ankara. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Psychology at Okan University with honors and subsequently graduated from the Clinical Psychology Master’s Program at Üsküdar University. In his master’s thesis, he examined “The Relationship Between Decision-Making Processes and Cravings in Substance Dependence.”

In 2016, he conducted clinical interviews and administered psychological tests as part of the “Exercise Your Brain, Renew Yourself” project, which was supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA).

In the field of psychotherapy, he completed training in Integrative Psychotherapy (a comprehensive program encompassing theory, formulation, and supervision—1,080 hours) under Specialist Dr. Tahir Özakkaş; and has also completed training in cognitive-behavioral therapy under Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar, schema therapy under Alp Karaosmanoğlu, EMDR under Emre Konuk, and emotion-focused therapy under Leslie Greenberg.

Recognizing that each client’s psychological makeup and needs are unique, he adopts a holistic psychotherapy approach. In his practice, he utilizes psychodynamic psychotherapies (transference-focused, Masterson, time-limited dynamic psychotherapy), cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and relational psychotherapy.

He works with adolescents and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, relationship issues, identity and developmental issues, and personality disorders. He is a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association and the Psychotherapy Institute Association.

Since 2014, he has been teaching graduate students at Üsküdar University; he also continues to provide psychotherapy to adolescents and adults at NPİSTANBUL Hospital.
