He graduated from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Commerce University in 2011. He completed his teacher training program at Marmara University in 2012. In 2018, he completed the Clinical Psychology master’s program at Üsküdar University with high honors. He wrote his master’s thesis on “Locus of Control and Problem-Solving Skills in Individuals Diagnosed with Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders.”

During his academic career, he successfully completed his internships at Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital and NPİSTANBUL Hospital. He completed internships at numerous counseling centers. Following his undergraduate education, he worked as a school psychologist and counselor at various institutions. After graduating with a degree in clinical psychology, he began seeing clients. Most recently, at the YEŞİLAY counseling center, he provided counseling services to individuals with addictions and their families, was responsible for in-house training, and conducted group therapy sessions.

Following his master’s degree, he served as a volunteer assistant on the SAMBART project under Prof. Dr. Kültegin Ögel. In 2015, he received training in Motivational Interviewing techniques from Prof. Dr. Kültegin Ögel. He then completed his training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the supervision process under Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar in 2015. He completed training in Solution-Focused Therapy techniques with Nevin Dölek. In 2016, he received training in the MMPI test from the Turkish Psychological Association. In 2022, he received training in Schema Therapy from Alp Karaosmanoğlu. Having completed training in interventions for alcohol, substance, and gambling addictions, our specialist subsequently successfully completed the SAMBA training program as well.
