Uzm. Dr. Gunay Hajiyeva graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2013 and completed her psychiatry residency training at Cukurova University Balcali Hospital in 2021. She has received various trainings on many therapy methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Dynamic Sexual Therapy and specializes in areas such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, alcohol, substance addiction and sexual dysfunctions. Dr. Hajiyeva, who is fluent in English, Russian and German, has taken an active role in both academic and clinical studies and has presented at various national and international congresses.
