Child - Adolescent Psychologist

In 2007, she graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Psychology as a high honor student with a scholarship from ÖSYM. After her undergraduate education, she was accepted to Doğuş University Clinical Psychology Master's program in 2009 and completed her specialization. During her graduate education, she worked as a clinical psychologist at Doğuş University Psychology Training Center with "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy" training under the supervision of a supervisor.
During her education, she worked as an intern psychologist at Bakırköy Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Hospital and Marmara University Hospital Psychiatry Department.
Since 2009, Eda Ergür has been working with children, adolescents, and adults with various therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, and EMDR, and makes effective use of psychological tests for diagnosis and evaluation.
With the Projective Test Battery, which she translated and applied herself, she evaluates the emotional, behavioral and interpersonal problems of children and adolescents in detail and continues to work by structuring the therapy plan by quickly reaching a very comprehensive result such as the individual's self-perception, emotional perception of the family and close environment, approaches to problems, critical affect and view of their competencies.
With assessments such as the CAS Cognitive Assessment Test and the WISC-IV Intelligence Test for Children, she identifies areas of cognitive and attention skills that are strong and need to be supported, and carries out supportive work.
It works with skill-oriented programs such as PASS Cognitive Interventions Program to strengthen attention skills in children and adolescents; PREP Reading Enhancement Program to strengthen reading skills; SOBECE (Social Skills Acquisition Program for Children) to support social skills.
She actively works with individuals who have had traumatic experiences with EMDR method to help them overcome emotional problems.
Eda Ergür, who is married and mother of two children, continues her work mainly with individual therapies with children, adolescents and adults as well as couple therapy; she supports families in their relationships with their children.
Eda Ergür, who has served her clients as an Expert Clinical Psychologist at the Bilgen Therapy Institute with Psychiatrist İbrahim Bilgen, at a private medical center and in her own clinic, works as an Expert Clinical Psychologist in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at NPISTANBUL Hospital.
