She was born in 1962 in Istanbul.
She completed her primary school education at Osmangazi Primary School between 1968-1972 and her secondary and high school education at Kadıköy Girls' High School between 1972-1978.
In 1980, she entered I.U. Faculty of Literature, Department of Psychology and graduated in 1984.
Between 1985-1988, she received training on psychological tests at I.U. Çapa Medical Faculty Psychology Laboratory.
Between 1986-1988, she worked as a psychologist at Çekirdek Children's Home for a period of 1 year and at Tepebaşı Vatan Hospital Dialysis Center in the other period and applied individual psychotherapy with supervision in certain periods.
Between 1988-1998, she worked as a psychologist at GATA H.paşa Eğt. Hst. Between 1988-1998, he worked as a psychologist in GATA H.paşa Training Hospital Psychiatry Clinic, established the psychology laboratory and also trained trainee psychologists on psychological tests. He did individual psychotherapy and relaxation groups with supervision to adults who were hospitalized in GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital and who came from outpatient clinics, he did cancer groups together under the chairmanship of Specialist Dr. Murat Dokur in the same period and started Psychodrama training with his encouragement.
Since 1990, after completing the basic training of "Psychodrama Assistant" in Dr. Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Institute, which provides Psychodrama training affiliated to the Moreno Institute in Überlingen, Germany, he continued to the Upper Stage Training Group in order to be entitled to receive the title of "Psychodrama therapist" and completed the 11-year training phase period and gave his thesis and gave the title of " Psychodrama Therapist Certificate" and was entitled to practice Psychodrama independently in individuals, families and groups in the field of Protective and Therapeutic Mental Health.
In the Fall Semester of 1997-98, she started her Master's program at I.U. Institute of Forensic Medicine, Department of Social Sciences and in April 2000, she submitted her Master's thesis titled "Evaluation of WISC-R Test Results of Runaway Children Living on the Streets".
Since 1998, she has been working as a Clinical Psychology Unit Supervisor at Memory Center and her areas of specialization are: Stress Management, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Attacks, Social Phobia, Fears, and she uses Neuro-Bio Feedback and Rehacom techniques, which she was trained by Dr. Kamran Fallahpour, one of the directors of "The Brain Resource Company". She also has EFT 1-2 Association's Practitioner Certificate (by Dr. İnci Erkin -AAMET) and uses EFT in some psychological cases. In addition, she has received the Therapeutic Cards Training from Yehuda Shacham-Shulamit Niv (ESPCT). It is used by him in appropriate cases.
In 2012, she moved to NPIstanbul Hospital as "General Coordinator of Psychotherapy Services" and continues her individual and group therapies.
Since 2004, she has been the host of the PSYCHOYORUM program broadcast live on Sky Türk TV every weekday evening for 5 years.
Since the 2012-13 academic year, he has been teaching "Group Psychotherapies" to the Clinical and Applied Master's Degree students of T.C Üsküdar University Psychology under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan.
He worked with Psychologist Cumhur Avcil and Psychologist Ayşegül Soysal on "Persistence", one of the modules in the New Youth Project, which is an Individual Rehabilitation Model in connection with T.C Üsküdar University and T.C Ministry of Family and Social Policies.
In June 2021, he completed his PhD program in Psychology at the Institute of Social Sciences and gave his thesis titled "The effect of respiratory biofeedback use on disease severity and quantitative electroencephalogram parameters in panic disorder".
She has 3 books. Her first book is "Social Phobia" published in 2004. His second book is "What is there to be afraid of" written together with Dr. Oğuz Tan and his third book is "What is there to worry about" published in 2009.
