He was born in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, in 1982. He attended Ataköy Emlak Kredi Bankası Elementary School, followed by six years of middle and high school at Istanbul Moda College; due to the closure of Moda College, he completed his high school education at Istanbul Kültür College. He graduated from Maltepe University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed part of his mandatory service at the Beşevler Village Health Center in Osmaneli, Bilecik, and with the 112 Emergency Ambulance Services in Keşan, Edirne. Between 2007 and 2008, while beginning his residency in urology at the Hadassah Medical Center’s Department of Urology, he worked alongside his mentor, Prof. Dr. Leon Saporta, in the Department of Urology at Balat OR AHAYİM Hospital.
After completing his Hebrew language education, he was accepted in 2009 to the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical Center Ein Kerem in Jerusalem, Israel, and graduated in 2013 as a Radiology Specialist.

Interventional Radiology Procedures Performed by Dr. Alp Tabak:
Procedures performed under ultrasound guidance: FNAB (Fine-Needle Aspiration Biopsy), Tru-Cut Breast Biopsies, Vacuum-Assisted Aspiration Biopsies of the Breast, Intact BLES (Breast Lesion Excision System), Abscess and Collection Drainages, and Cholecystostomy using a pigtail catheter under ultrasound guidance.
Procedures performed under CT guidance: CT-guided cholecystostomy with a pigtail catheter; abscess drainage procedures; CT-guided biopsies of all solid organs in the thorax and abdomen (liver, spleen, kidney, lung, chest wall, etc.) and of bone and muscle tissues in the musculoskeletal system.
CT-guided neuronal ganglion ablation procedures.
