He was born in Aydın in 1993. He graduated from İzmir Fen Lisesi in 2011. In 2017, he graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine and earned the title of Doctor of Medicine. He began his residency training at Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 2018 and completed it in 2022 with a thesis titled “Investigation of Long-Term Potentiation-Like Plasticity, Quantitative EEG Features, and Serum Prolactin, oxytocin, and BDNF levels in the differential diagnosis of dementia subtypes,” and became a board-certified psychiatrist in 2022. From 2022 to 2024, he fulfilled his mandatory state service at Giresun Prof. Dr. A. İlhan Özdemir State Hospital. His areas of interest include schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, mood disorders, alcohol and substance use disorders, geriatric psychiatry, dementia, neurophysiology, psychosomatic treatments (rTMS, deep TMS), cognitive-behavioral therapies, EMDR, and psychodynamic psychotherapies.
