Dopamine, our brain's reward chemical, is involved in every aspect of our lives. Being loved, being admired, engaging in pleasurable activities and many other factors cause dopamine secretion in our brains. Pointing out that people with dopamine deficiency seek to activate the reward mechanism, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar pointed out that making changes in women's hair while going through troubled times can be a healthy way to increase dopamine.

Üsküdar University NP Feneryolu Medical Center Psychiatry Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar made important evaluations about the place of dopamine chemical in life.
"We cannot live without dopamine in daily life"
"We cannot live without dopamine in daily life, everything that gives pleasure increases dopamine release," said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar,
"When we cook, our spouse saying 'Thank you', seeing that our child is happy and healthy, an expression of appreciation, we release a little bit of dopamine in our daily lives and this is enough for us. However, there may be genetic or acquired disorders in dopamine secretion. However, if we live in a narrow environment in terms of social opportunities and conditions, if the number of objects that we can get pleasure from is small and on the other hand, if we need that dopamine, then we can turn more to the pleasurable activities that we can access. This is one of the problems at the root of many behavioral addictions."
Women pull themselves together by changing their hair
Üsküdar University Institute of Social Sciences Director, NP Feneryolu Medical Center Psychiatry Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar said, "The individual may choose different ways to release more dopamine. For example; the person is married, may be overly involved in sexuality, may be having a healthy sexuality, or may think that they can get dopamine from the world that opens up to them on the internet."
"For example, women who experience various stresses in society often make a change in their hair as a healthy recovery, an effort to collect themselves. They can find a way out of their daily troubles and recover themselves with the dopamine release that comes with a change, appreciation of their own appearance, and positive feedback from the environment."
