"Happiness needs to be rewritten"

The 5th Happy Human Body, Soul and Mind Festival brought together experts in the fields of personal development, psychology and psychiatry on its 2nd day. Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Prof. Dr. Uğur Batı, actor Murat Aygen and many other names showed great interest in the festival.

Üsküdar University Rector Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who was among the speakers of the festival, talked about positive psychology, the science of happiness, social isolation and the chemistry of love in his presentation titled "Human 5.0". Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said that one of the most important problems of today is isolation and unhappiness.

"Happiness needs to be rewritten"

Speaking about the effects of developing technologies on human psychology, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said: "There is a price that technology pays to people along with prosperity. In such a situation, we need to rewrite happiness. Life scenarios have changed; it is necessary to create new scenarios according to the actors."

"We came to the world to be human"

Stating that happiness is the management of the chemistry laboratory in the brain, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said, "We came to the world to be human. We are not born human; we are candidates to be human. We need to think about how we can be human. This means the management of the frontal region of the brain. In 2018, the 'Ministry Responsible for Loneliness' was established in the UK. In the researches conducted, it was determined that there is a loneliness in young people between the ages of 16-24. This loneliness is loneliness in a crowd. There is social and psychological isolation."

"Love is not the cause, it is the result"

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that trust is the most basic emotion and continued his words as follows "When love is high, trust emerges and fear decreases. The formula for the sustainability of love is to establish good cooperation. When you establish good cooperation, trust is formed. When there is trust, love emerges. Love is described as a reason in marriage. However, love is the result, not the cause. If you love someone and have a good relationship, love is formed for life.

Following Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Prof. Dr. Uğur Batı and actor Murat Aygen came together with the participants in the panel "Synchronous / Interactive Show".

"It is necessary to live by realizing the rhythm of life"

Murat Aygen, together with Prof. Dr. Uğur Batı, shared the following in the interactive show "Synchrony: The Perfect Harmony of Being Us" "Anything that enters our lives; a person, a situation or a person who falls down on the road and hits his or her head, the person we are when we get up is not the same person we were in the previous moment. That's why I think we should live by realizing this rhythm of life."

Heart sends "Love" signal to the brain

Stating that the heart is always referred to when talking about love, Prof. Dr. Uğur Batı said, "Literature, art, daily discourses are actually always progressing in this way. It is highly likely that we fall in love with the brain. I say strong possibility because it is not yet an area that science can fully solve. But recent studies have shown that the heart sends signals to the brain. So it is highly likely that we fall in love with the heart."

In the synchronous seminar, which is a special experience work that combines "togetherness, harmony, teamwork, integrity and socialization"; decision science, neuroscience, and communication discipline were used together with body percussion and rhythm technique.
