After performing many tests and examinations, when they are convinced that the disease has no physical basis, they should definitely refer the patient to a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists should have treated patients before and should refer the patient after a good research. In such cases, if the patient does not receive the appropriate treatment, the treatment may be further delayed and may even become more difficult to treat. At this point, it would be appropriate for psychiatrists to refer their patients to a specialized colleague.

Once the disease is diagnosed, it is a treatable disorder, but a special treatment protocol must be applied.

Nausea of psychological origin is not a group of diseases that psychiatrists also frequently encounter. Sometimes the medications given to the patient cause the nausea and vomiting to intensify, i.e. increase.
