Make your loved one feel special by preparing romantic presentations

On February 14th, Valentine's Day, get into the kitchen for delicious recipes that will make your loved ones happy and maybe even replace a Valentine's Day gift, and be sure to try the recipes we recommend. For starters, you can make ezogelin soup, which is full of protein and fiber. As appetizers, you can consider spinach and labneh rolls, colored cheese balls, wheat purslane. For the main course, you can make a great presentation with a boiled vegetable garnish and a little mashed potato with low-fat beef tenderloin, a salad prepared with seasonal greens and, of course, the indispensable dessert.

Ezogelin soup recipe

Ingredients for the recipe

-1 cup red lentils
-1 teaspoon rice
-1 teaspoon bulgur
-2 teaspoons chili pepper
-1 tablespoon mint
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 medium onion
-1 tablespoon pepper paste
-1 tablespoon salt
-1 tablespoon butter
-2 liters of hot water

How to make Ezogelin soup recipe

-To make Ezogelin soup, we first roast the grated onion and crushed garlic in butter in a pressure cooker. Let the onions lose their vigor and roast them over medium heat without burning them.

-When the onions are roasted, add mint, red pepper and tomato paste. Let's continue roasting.
-After stirring for a while, add the washed lentils, rice, bulgur and salt and mix.
-Pour nearly 2 liters of water that is boiling on another side.
-After closing the lid of the pressure cooker and the whistle, cook for 10 minutes. You can also cook it in a normal pot, but it will cook a little later (it will take about 30-40 minutes).

Ingredients for the spinach labneh rolls recipe

-1 egg
-1 cup milk
-1 tea cup boiled and drained spinach
-Half teaspoon salt
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-3-4 tablespoons (full) whole wheat or wholemeal flour

Recipe / how to make

Put all the ingredients in a blender. It will have the consistency of grits. Grease the crepe pan. Pour a small ladle of batter into the hot pan and cook over low heat. When the pancake is golden brown, flip it to the other side, cook for a few seconds and remove from the stove. We do this so that the green side is prominent. Spread labneh cheese on the overcooked side after it cools down and roll it up. Slice into 2 cm thick slices. Use tiny mint leaves to decorate.

Ingredients for making colorful cheese balls

-200 g curd cheese
-Desired amount of grated cheese
-Red chili powder/parsley/black cumin/red cabbage
-Optionally (a little olive oil or boiled potatoes can be added for shaping)

-Mix the curd cheese and grated cheddar cheese and knead.

-We can color the shaped cheeses according to our wishes. I used grated carrots, red cabbage, red pepper powder, black cumin and parsley. They were as delicious as they looked stylish.

Purslane with wheat

Ingredients:

-400 gr. purslane - cleaned
-8 - 10 pickled cucumbers (soak in water for a while to remove excess salt)
-1 clove of garlic
-1 cup strained yogurt
-2 tablespoons pine nuts
-1 handful of wheat
-Salt
-White pepper powder
-Olive oil

Soak the wheat in water the night before. Then boil them. Separate the cleaned purslane from the thick stems, tear them with your hands and put them in a large bowl. Slice the pickled cucumbers and add them into the purslane. Put olive oil in a small skillet and heat it. Fry the boiled wheat and set aside. Roast the pine nuts in another small pan and set aside. Mix the strained yogurt, crushed garlic, salt and white pepper in a bowl and combine with the purslane. Add half of the roasted pine nuts and half of the fried wheat into the purslane and mix. Place the purslane on a serving plate, sprinkle the reserved pine nuts and wheat over the purslane and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.

Blueberry and cocoa cheesecake recipe

Ingredients

-4 packs of cocoa biscuits (600 grams / you can also use oat biscuits if you want it to be lighter)
-80 grams of butter

For the cream

-500 grams mascarpone cheese
-250 grams of labneh cheese
-200 grams of brown powdered sugar (you can obtain brown sugar by passing it through a food processor)
-1 teaspoon lemon juice

For the blueberry sauce:

-200 grams of dried blueberries
-2 tablespoons brown powdered sugar
-1 tablespoon corn starch
-1/2 cup cherry juice
-1/2 cup water

The trick

All the ingredients for the cream mixture should be kept at room temperature. Drain the water from the cheeses. Cover the outside of the clamp cake mold you will use for the cheesecake completely with aluminum foil.

How to make it?

-Break the cocoa biscuits into small pieces and mix them with the butter at room temperature in a food processor until they form a dough.
Cover the base of the cake mold with the cacao biscuit layer you have prepared with the heart-shaped slices.
-Make sure that there are no gaps in between and that the biscuit layer is at the same height all over the mold. Put it in the refrigerator to cool.
-Put the drained mascarpone and labne cheese into a mixing bowl.
-Mix the cream mixture with powdered sugar and lemon juice with the help of a mixer at high speed.
-Cover the cocoa cheesecake layer you took out of the fridge with the cream mixture you prepared. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for about three hours.
-To prepare the dried cranberry sauce to cover the cheesecake, put the cranberries, cherry juice, drinking water, powdered sugar and cornstarch in a small sauce pan.
-Stir the sauce with a wooden spoon to prevent the starch from clumping and cook over low heat for 8-10 minutes.
-Cover the cocoa cheesecake with the base resting in the fridge with the dried blueberry sauce you prepared. Keep it in the refrigerator for a short while to let the sauce freeze, then slice it and share it with your loved ones.
