How should ideal hand washing be?
Stating that microorganisms that contaminate the skin during daily activities can be completely removed from the skin if the hands are washed with soap and water, Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Murat KOCA said the following: "Hands should be washed with appropriate soap and the washing time should be at least 30 seconds. Antimicrobial soap can also be used when there is visible contamination on the hands. First, hands should be started to be washed by wetting them with water. 3-5 ml of soap should be applied to the hands and the hands should be rubbed for at least 15 seconds. Make sure that the entire surface of the hands and fingers are covered with soap. Hands are rinsed with water and dried completely."
