"You can start the day with light breakfast options consisting of milk and oat flakes or cheese, whole wheat bread, tomato and cucumber."

Stating that turkey, which is associated with New Year's tables, is a balanced main course option, Özden Örkçü said, "Because turkey is one of the fatty meats with low fat content. Its cholesterol content is low and easier to digest. It is rich in B3 and B6, zinc and selenium. If you fill your plate with boiled seasonal vegetables such as red cabbage, carrots, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, you will make a good choice."

"Another issue you should pay attention to is auxiliary dishes-appetizers; deli products such as salami, bacon, shellfish such as shrimp, squid or other mayonnaise appetizers are very caloric," says Nutrition and Diet Specialist Özden Örkçü,

Özden Örkçü said, "Instead of heavy syrupy desserts for dessert, you can choose light dairy desserts or fruit desserts that will not tire your stomach too much" and continued his words as follows:
"Pumpkin dessert, which is one of the easiest desserts to make, is also a winter season dessert. Apart from pumpkin dessert, you should prefer light fruit desserts such as quince and pear. Sharing your dessert with someone would be a great choice. How about a fruit plate with 1 slice of pineapple and 1 banana?
Don't forget to drink plenty of water!
The biggest problem with drinking is dehydration. Before the meal, with the meal and later in the night, have a water glass in your hand, not a drinking glass. Drink plenty of water. Considering that you will be sitting until late at night on New Year's Eve and will be in a constant snacking state, you should drink more water.
1. If alcohol is to be consumed, drinks with low alcohol content and antioxidant content can be preferred.
