Conners' Parent Rating Scale-Revised Long Form: CPRSRL (Conners' Parent Rating Scale-Revised Long, CPRSRL):
CPRSRL was developed by Conners to assess problem behaviors in children and adolescents aged 3-17 years, primarily ADHD.
The CPRSRL is a four-point Likert-type scale and consists of 57 items and seven subscales with scores ranging from 0 to 3: Oppositional defiance (10 items), cognitive problems/inattention/BP-D (12 items), hyperactivity/H (9 items), anxiety-shyness/K-U (8 items), perfectionism/M (7 items), social problems/SP (5 items) and psychosomatic/P (6 items).
There are also three subscales that share some items in the subscales: ADHD Index, Conners Global Index and DSM-IV Symptoms. The subscales are constructed from the items in the original scale and are used to support the findings from the main scale. Since the primary objective of this study was to examine the structure of the subscales other than the subscales, only the findings related to the subscales were included, just as in the original study. The Turkish adaptation study of the CTS-IU was conducted by Kaner et al. As a result of the CFA analysis, it was found that the factor structure of the CTS-IU was identical to the original scale (RMSEA=0.04, RMR=0.04, GFI=0.90 and AGFI=0.89). When the construct validity of the CTS-PI was examined, it was found that all subscales except the K-U, M and P subscales distinguished children with ADHD from children without ADHD and all correlations between the subscales were statistically significant.
Cronbach's alpha coefficients of CADÖ-YU were between 0.55-0.85 and test-retest reliability coefficients were between 0.35-0.73. Item total correlations were between 0.45-0.59 for CG, 0.43-0.61 for BP-D, 0.37-0.58 for H, 0.36-0.45 for M, 0.37-0.59 for P, 0.32-0.60 for K-U and 0.37-0.59 for SP.
