What is Lipolysis?

Lipolysis is a local slimming and regional fat melting process. Phosphatidyl choline obtained from soy is used in this process. In this method, the enzyme is injected into the fat cells by injection and the fat should be broken into pieces. After lipolysis, skin fluctuations, inequality and asymmetry do not occur. The patient can continue his/her daily life after the procedure. Among the side effects, simple symptoms such as redness, burning or sensitization may occur. Lipolysis should not be applied to patients under the age of 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with diabetes and cancer, people with liver or kidney failure.

In addition to agents that revitalize some tissues and increase blood flow, the auxiliary agents added vary depending on whether the tissue is hard or soft, sagging or fit. When the appropriate patient is selected, it is a form of treatment that has an effect when it gets results close to liposuction.
Phosphatidyl choline has been used at high levels for about 10 years, lowering cholesterol, contributing to blood pressure control and intravenous applications for similar purposes in people with stroke. Therefore, it is an active substance that has been proven to be effective and reliable and approved by the FDA.

For Which Purposes Is Lipolysis Applied?

Lipotherapy is used for deformity due to adiposity, cellulite treatment, gynecomastia, lipoma and the disappearance of fat around the eyes, and the removal of bags under the eyes. It is also used in the treatment of deformities that may occur after surgical removal of fat. It can be especially effective in the disappearance of the orange peel appearance caused by cellulite. It is also preferred for the treatment of back fat deposits in men.

In Which Areas Is Lipolysis Effective?

Lipolysis contributes to the reduction of the jowl area, the fat under the chin or the bags under the eyes, except for the fat in the body. Liposuction is also very effective in the armpit area, which is difficult to apply. It is also applied on the arms, abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs and legs. If supported with healthy nutrition and exercise, the reflection can be long-lasting.

How Many Sessions Should Lipolysis Be Performed?

The number of sessions in which lipolysis is successful varies according to the weight, age and body fat ratio of the individual. In general, at least 2-4 sessions should be performed on problematic parts. 80 percent of the patients realize the difference in their bodies after the second session. After each session, the body resets the fat wastes that are being dissolved in the usual ways. Total fat loss may occur in common procedures. In high dose procedures, it becomes possible to exceed the desired effect. Observe the effect and perform the procedure in periods of 4-6 weeks.
The effect shows itself after the 3rd week and may continue after 6 weeks by gradually increasing. The main effect is seen after the second session. After this period, patients can observe that the thinning is also noticed by other people. While the number of sessions is planned as 4-8, this is determined by the amount of drug used and the size volume of the target fat mass. The dose rate to be used in the first session is also determined.
