Semester break starts tomorrow. Stating that the semester break is an important opportunity for students preparing for university exams, experts say, "The semester break is the last exit before the bridge. Üsküdar University Educational Institutions and Guidance Services Manager Expert Psychological Counselor and Career Counselor Ece Tözeniş said that the semester break is an important opportunity for students preparing for university exams.
Stating that as of tomorrow, the first semester will end for students and students will start the semester break by receiving their report cards, Ece Tözeniş said, "Everyone will have plenty of rest, read books and have fun during this holiday. After all, all students have gone through a good or bad, difficult or easy education period, they have worked more or less and they deserve this vacation."
This vacation should be well spent
Ece Tözeniş advised university candidates to spend this holiday period efficiently and said, "They will wait for next year for the semester break. Because the semester break that started on Friday is the last exit before the bridge for them. There is still time even for those who have not started working until now. But time will start passing much faster after the semester break."
How should this semester be evaluated?
Reminding that the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) will be held on June 20-21, 2020 this year, Ece Tözeniş said the following:
"We have 5 months ahead of us. This is the long time we have left to achieve our goals, and we also have a semester break for our short-term goals. However, when this short time is utilized well, it is a time that will carry us to higher success ranks than where we are and enable us to close our deficiencies more quickly.
In this period when you have more time;
- Prepare a semester break program that will be the most efficient for yourself by dividing one day into hours.
- Remove the subjects you are missing from TYT and AYT subjects.
- Close this gap by working on the subjects where you have more knowledge deficiencies.
- Reinforce the subjects that you do not lack knowledge by solving questions.
- Do not only go through question solutions to finish the subjects faster. Always learn the subject first and then do question solutions on the subject to reinforce it.
- Unlike other students, devote most of your vacation time to TYT and AYT preparations.
- Don't forget to add activities that will give you pleasure such as cinema, theater, meeting with friends to your schedule during the day.

Stating that if this time is managed efficiently by working in a planned and programmed manner, a faster entry to the second semester will be made, Uzmanm. Psk. Dan.
