Panic Disorder Severity Scale - A 10-item scale assessing the severity of agoraphobia in adults aged 18 years and older. The scale is designed to be completed by the individual upon diagnosis of Panic Disorder (or in the presence of clinically significant Panic Disorder symptoms) and then prior to follow-up interviews with the clinician. Each item asks the individual to rate the severity of Panic Disorder symptoms over the past 7 days.

Frequency of Use
The scale can be completed at regular intervals as clinically indicated, depending on the stability of symptoms and treatment status, to monitor changes in the severity of Panic Disorder symptoms over time. Persistently high scores in one domain may indicate a significant and problematic illness that may require further evaluation, treatment and follow-up. Your clinical judgment should guide your decisions.
