The importance of social isolation and social distancing should be emphasized, they should be told that they should not accept guests in their homes, they should not go out of the house unless there is a very urgent situation, they should keep their immunity strong, it should be explained how important hygiene is, basic needs, shopping, etc. They can be supported for situations that they need to take care of outside. We can take care of things that need to be done outside on their behalf. Frequent phone calls, not only about the disease or this infection, but also about other topics, talking about happy days, opening conversations about positive and positive issues will comfort them in this process. Because they may be more worried and anxious about this epidemic due to their advancing age. In this regard, making motivating speeches to them and doing things like calling them often and asking how they are doing will make them feel better. Apart from that, maybe an occupation or a pastime can be suggested for them to spend time at home. In this way, they can spend better time at home during the time they are closed. For example, listening to audiobooks, radio theater, reading books, organizing albums will be among the enjoyable pursuits. However, frequent phone calls or even video chats with relatives will improve the morale of the elderly.
