Neurology Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı, known for his work in the field of neurology, brain and neuroscience, joined the staff of Üsküdar University NPISTANBUL Hospital.

Known for her work in the field of neurology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı was born in Rize in 1970. Tarlacı, who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1995 with first place and became a medical doctor, received her neurology specialty from Ege University in 2000.

In 2000, he received the Brain Research Association Research Incentive Award, in 2001 he received the TUBITAK-Brain Research Association Research Incentive Award and in 2003 he received the Sedat Simavi Health Sciences Award from the Turkish Journalists Association. In 2014, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tarlacı was awarded by the NeoCortex student community, which gathers students of health sciences, especially medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine, under the same social roof and directs them to scientific research.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı is the founder, namesake and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of NeuroQuantology, which started to be published in 2003 and deals with neuroscience and quantum physics. The journal was accepted to international scientific databases (SCI, SCI-E) in January 2008. The journal, which is currently in its 14th year, continues to be published regularly under the editor-in-chief. A book on the subject, NeuroQuantology, has been published abroad (Nova Publisher, 2014)

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı has published over 40 neurology, neuroscience, neurophilosophy research and review articles in SCI. These articles were cited in nearly 1000 foreign sources. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı, who participated in many TV programs as an invited speaker on neurosciences, brain, cognitive sciences, border sciences, different states of consciousness and behavioral sciences, has a book on neurology titled Emergency Neurological Diseases (2004/2008).

In 2014, her novel "197 Days" was published, and her popular science books include Death Dictionary (2016), Why Schrödinger's Cat Became Schizophrenic (2017) and From Cave to Mars (2017).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı is currently preparing for publication a book on human psychology that deals with social events, individual-society and brain-behavior relations, violence and altruism. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı is a Working Member of the Neurological Intensive Care and Cognitive Neuroscience Group of the Turkish Neurological Association.
