What is Dichloron?

Dichloroquinone is a medicine in the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that is used to treat pain and inflammation. Its active ingredient diclofenac sodium treats by preventing the production of chemicals that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Dichloron is effective in rheumatic disorders, muscle and joint pain, menstrual pain. Forms; in tablet form, ampoule, gel and suppository form. It is sold in pharmacies. Nausea, abdominal pain, problems in the digestive system, eating problems are among the most common side effects.

What does dichloroquine do?

Dichlorone is used in cases such aspain and inflammation. It is not suitable for unconscious use without consulting a specialist. We can list the usage areas of dichloro as follows;

  • Joint pain and inflammation
  • Pain after surgery
  • Menstrual pain

How is Dichloron used?

Dichloron is used if prescribed by a specialist to a sick person. The active ingredient is diclofenac. It prevents the production of chemicals called prostaglandins that cause inflammation and pain in the body and relieves pain and reduces inflammation. You can use dichloro as indicated below;

  • It is necessary to use it as recommended by the specialist and in the prescribed dose.
  • If it is used as a tablet, take the medicine with a glass of water before eating.
  • Do not chew or crush dichloron.
  • Dichloro may cause side effects such as vision problems, weakness or insomnia.
  • If the medicine is in ampoule form, it is injected into the buttocks with the help of a syringe.

Dichloron Usage Dosage

When using dichloroquine , the smallest dose and the least amount of time that can control the pain should be chosen. Doses higher than the dose recommended by the doctor should not be used. The doses of dichloron are as follows;
Dichloron tablet dosage: The first recommended dose for adults is 100-150 mg divided into 2-3 times a day. In simple cases, 75-100 mg is sufficient. The highest dose is 150 mg during the day. In menstrual pain, a single dose of 50-100 mg or 150 mg divided into 3 doses can be used with the onset of pain.
For children and adolescents, the recommended daily dose is 0.4-2 mg/kg depending on the intensity of the discomfort. The maximum dose is 150 mg per day.
In elderly patients, the lightest dose and early treatment is generally recommended. If an undesirable effect is observed, a doctor should be consulted.
Dichloron ampoule dosage: The recommended dose for adults is generally 1 ampoule per day. The duration of treatment is 2 days. Tablet or suppository forms can also be used when necessary. Children and people under 18 years of age cannot use it.
Dichloro gel dosage: The gel can be applied 3-4 times a day. The amount used is determined by the size of the applied part. The drug should not be used for more than 2-3 weeks. However, if there is no difference in health status after 1 week of treatment, consult a specialist.

Which medicines is dichloro not used with?

Whendichloron interacts with some medicines, the effects of the medicines may change. You should consult your doctor if you are taking the following medicines;

  • Some antidepressant pills
  • Some heart medicines
  • Medicines that cause miscarriage
  • Diuretics
  • Hypertension medicines
  • Drugs that reduce edema
  • Kidney medicines
  • Blood thinners
  • Diabetic medicines
  • Medicines used in inflammatory rheumatic diseases

Who Cannot Use Dichloron?

Dichloron is not a drug used randomly. It should be used under doctor control. This drug has areas of use. We can list the people who are inconvenient to use dichlorone as follows;

  • Those with cardiovascular system disease
  • People with heart failure
  • People with asthma or allergic rhinitis
  • People with liver failure
  • People with kidney failure
  • People in the last trimester of pregnancy

People with the diseases mentioned above should not use this medicine. It is also a drug that should be used under the supervision of a doctor.

Dichlorone Side Effects

As with any medicine, dichloro also has side effects. If you experience the following symptoms, your body may be having an allergic reaction to dichloro. The side effects of dichloro are as follows;

  • Swelling in the mouth, face, tongue and throat
  • Chest tightness, shortness of breath
  • Inflamed rash
  • Severe pain in the head region
  • Dizziness
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Problems in the digestive system
  • Eating disorder
