After his military service, he completed his specialty training at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2000. After completing his specialty training, Şarlak, who worked as a specialist doctor in Kütahya State Hospital between 2000-2010, worked in Kütahya between 2010-2011 and in private hospitals in Istanbul between 2011-2018.
