While the meeting within the scope of the APA (American Psychiatric Association) congress held at the Javits Center in New York was held with the participation of APA CEO Saul Levin, the interest of scientists in the meeting was very intense.
Scientists from many different countries of the world met in New York, USA under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan. While the 171st APA (American Psychiatric Association) congress, organized annually by the American Psychiatric Association, was held in New York this year, the interest of scientists in the TANPA meeting within the scope of the congress was intense.
Üsküdar University and its application partner NPISTANBUL Hospital also took part in the congress, which was held at the Javits Center on 05-09 May 2018 and attended by authority figures from all over the world, where the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment were discussed.

In the context of the congress, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, President of the Turkish American Neuropsychiatric Association and Rector of Üsküdar University, brought together dozens of scientists from different countries of the world at the TANPA annual meeting at Sheraton Time Square Hotel. Prof. Tarhan discussed the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment with scientists.
Representing Turkish and American clinicians, Tarhan informed the participants about the work of the association, stating that it works to realize and develop scientific partnerships in the field of neuropsychiatry.

Prof. Dr. Norman Moore, a renowned American psychiatrist who was awarded an "Honorary Doctorate" by Üsküdar University last year, also attended the meeting and gave a speech.
Prof. Dr. Tarhan, who also had a one-on-one conversation with the participants, signed his book "Rumi Therapy" for New York Consul General Ertan Yalçın and APA CEO Saul Levin.
