Mindfulness is focusing one's attention on what is happening in the present moment in a non-judgmental and accepting way.

Not being able to focus on the present moment and getting lost in thoughts negatively affects one's quality of life. In daily life, being "consciously" aware of what is happening inside and outside oneself at that moment, i.e. "mindfulness", is an awakening and contributes to one's well-being and quality of life. When we develop our mindfulness, instead of reacting automatically in various life situations, we are able to live more calmly and serenely without being overwhelmed by thoughts and emotions.
