Having successfully concluded its initial audit under ISO 9001:2008 standards in 2010 and maintained this until 2023, NPİSTANBUL Hospital underwent re-auditing under the revised ISO 9001:2015 standards between October 13-14, 2023, alongside the new branches added to Üsküdar University NP Feneryolu Medical Center and Üsküdar University NP Etiler Medical Center, and earned the continuation of its certificate through this successfully completed audit.
Additionally, it underwent its first audit on October 22, 2022, under the ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction standards—accepted as the international standard ensuring the effective management of customer complaints and the enhancement of customer satisfaction—and successfully completed this audit process without receiving any non-conformities. Within the scope of ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction standards, it underwent re-auditing between October 13-14, 2023, successfully concluded this audit as well, and earned the continuation of its certificate with its patient-oriented approach.
What is ISO 9001:2015?
The Quality Management System demonstrates that an organization ensures the continuity of services meeting patient expectations and applicable legal requirements. Furthermore, it sets out the requirements of a quality management system that organizations need to ensure patient satisfaction by effectively implementing the system, develop continuous improvement processes, and prevent potential errors.
Defined as the abbreviation for the International Organization for Standardization, ISO is a quality management standard established by the international standardization organization. The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate determines the assurance that the relevant organization's products or services are provided as a result of a management approach managed and administered in compliance with an internationally accepted management system, and therefore, the continuity of the organization's service quality can be ensured.
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate is an indicator proving that the organization provides healthcare services in compliance with an internationally accepted standard and legal requirements.
