She graduated from Maltepe University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department in 2014. In 2019, she completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University with her thesis on "The Relationship Between Internet Addiction, Loneliness and Sexual Compulsions in Early Adult Individuals". During her education, she completed her internship at NPISTANBUL Hospital. She worked for 11 years in official institutions and was awarded with the Certificate of Outstanding Achievement.
She is the author of the 'Dating Violence' chapter of the book "Nereden Düştük Bu Aşka!" prepared under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar.
Between 2019-2023, she will be a Psychotherapy Institute Specialist. She successfully completed "Holistic Psychotherapy Training" (1080 hours of training consisting of 1 year Theoretical, 1 year Formulation and 1 year Supervision stages) and then Hypnosis Training (72 hours), Emotion Focused Individual Therapy Training (72 hours), Emotion Focused Couple Therapy Training (72 hours) and Holistic Play Therapy (72 hours) training from Dr. Tahir Özakkaş. At the same time, she completed Experiential Play Therapy, CISED Sexual Therapy Training, Family Counseling Training, Art Therapy Training from Institute of Behavioral Sciences E.M.D.R, Nilüfer Devecigil.
Yasemin Yalçın, who believes that each individual's life experience, emotional needs and mental structure are unique, adopts the Holistic Psychotherapy approach, which is shaped according to the needs of the clients without adhering to a single method in the psychotherapy process. By combining Dynamic Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Relational Therapy methods in her work, she aims to deeply understand the inner world of the person and to accompany a permanent transformation.
She works in the Adult Unit at NPISTANBUL Hospital.
