Clinical Psychologist Gözde YÜKSEL completed his undergraduate studies by graduating simultaneously from the Psychology program and the Child Development (Double Major) program at Üsküdar University. Immediately following his undergraduate graduation, he simultaneously completed the Thesis-Based Master’s Program in Addiction Counseling and Rehabilitation at Üsküdar University and the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Esenyurt University, earning his specialization in both fields.

He completed his Master’s in Addiction Counseling with a thesis titled “An Investigation of the Relationship Between Emotion Regulation Difficulties, Impulsivity, and ADHD Symptoms in Patients Diagnosed with Addiction,” and his Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a research study titled “A Review of Emotion Regulation Difficulties in Various Addiction Groups.” During the data collection phase of his thesis, he worked as a researcher in the Amatem unit at NPİSTANBUL Hospital.

In addition to psychology, child development, and addiction internships at NPİSTANBUL Hospital, he completed internships at institutions such as the Tohum Autism Foundation, Validebağ Science High School, Erenköy Mediha Turhan Tansel Special Education School, Bayrampaşa Day Care Center under the Ministry of Family and Social Services (National Internship Program), and YEDAM; He completed his internships at various institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of National Education (MEB), and the Ministry of Family and Social Services (ASHB). Some of the trainings he has received include BDT, Rorschach, TAT, Moxo, EMDR, Denver-2, MMPI, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy), Filial Play Therapy, Sign Language Training, and Motivational Interviewing Techniques.

He studied English at the Emerald Cultural Institute. He has been seeing clients at his office in Istanbul since 2024. He currently works as a Clinical Psychologist in the AMATEM unit at NPİSTANBUL Hospital.
