General Emergency Service started its service in NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital.
The General Emergency Service, which has full-fledged equipment, provides services in both psychiatry and general medicine fields with experienced emergency medical doctors.
Üsküdar University NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital; added one more unit along with psychiatry, psychology, neurology, neurosurgery, general surgery, ENT, child-adolescence units.
NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital expanded its team by adding surgical branches to the psychiatric emergency department unit, which is open 24/7.
The patients are being evaluated by our team in Emergency Service who obtain a multidisciplinary approach, and after the related tests are conducted quickly, the results are assessed, the related compartment is referred and the necessary treatments are started.
7/24 PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY SERVICE IS PROVIDED
NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Emergency Service team, Turkey's first neuropsychiatric hospital, stated; “Our goal is to provide the best and most effective intervention for the patient on time, while providing 24/7 psychiatric emergency services and ambulance services. We provide services in General Emergency Service in both psychiatry and general medicine fields with our expanding team.”
In NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Service, there is a soft observation room for neurological and risky patients. The specially trained physician, nurse and health officer team have a 24/7 specialist psychiatric ambulance, that is available 24/7.
Daytime hospital services are provided by emergency departments supported by all branches and specialist teams in general emergency medicine, neurological emergency and psychiatry at night.
OUR TECHNOLOGICAL FACILITIES…
There are 2 laminar flow digital operating rooms, one of which is 1A and the other is 1B, and the 16-bed intensive care units that operate robotic surgery, Tumor, Spinal cord and Aneurysm surgery, Parkinson, OCD, Depression and Epilepsy operations that are applied in many areas of the battery operations.
Intensive care unit can fully service up to Level 3 to all intensive care patients. In our hospital, we offer the first and only 1A Ultra Clean operating room equipment of Turkey approved by an independent accredited organization, that obtain superior technological infrastructure facilities that support surgical operations in all branches.
CRISIS RESPONSE
Neuropsychiatric emergency service is designed accordingly to provide 24-hour service. There are soft rooms for patients that create an uproar, an emergency intensive care unit for patients at risk as well as the ones that suffer from neurological issues, and a patient observation room for gastric lavage. There is an opportunity to intervene with a specially trained physician, nurse and health officer team.
24 HOUR ACCESS TO SPECIALLY EQUIPPED PSYCHIATRIC AMBULANCE
The classical psychiatric approach is to perceive the patient as guilty. Given this reason, the medical intervention is ignored and the patient is being referred to the hospital with the law enforcement officers.
Our approach is to provide intervention and referral with an expert team and special soft room ambulance considering that the emergency psychiatric patient is not guilty but is ill.
Thus, it is possible to comply with universal human values between patients and social rules.
NEUROPSYCHIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE
It is an intensive care application in which patients can be monitored and prevented from excessive behavior. There is a special antibacterial HEPA filter air conditioning system.

NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, which makes no compromises on diagnosis, treatment and patient safety, registered its success one more time by holding Turkey’s first multidisciplinary approach in psychology and neurology disciplines are under one roof.
The ambulance which is ready for 24 hours and is capable of carrying patients from every region of Turkey immediately, has all the technical features like other ambulances. Unlike other ambulances, there is a soft room designed for comfort and technological equipment as well as the safety features that are necessary while transporting patients. The soft room is important for patients not to damage themselves and those around them. The client is intervened in this room surrounded by a special material and transported to the hospital safely.
PSYCHO EMERGENCY Ambulance, which is registered by the Turkish Patent Institute, has also received registration praiseworthily by JCI (Joint Commission International), the world's leading authorities in terms of patient safety standards. At the same time, it was emphasized that the ambulance is considered to be a world-class design that can be referred to JCI standards.
