Nuran KATI

She was born in Aydın in 1990. In 2014, She received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bahçeşehir University. In the same year, She completed her Master's degree in Applied Psychology at Üsküdar University, graduating with honors and obtaining her specialization. She then completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, where he actively participated in seminars and research activities during her stay.

During her undergraduate studies, She participated in numerous seminars and training programs. Additionally, throughout her education, she engaged in volunteer work both within the university and in institutions. For approximately 6 months, she observed various patient groups and attended sessions at the Faculty of Medicine in Çapa. she also worked as an intern for 3 months at a Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, conducting meetings with families.

During her time in the UK, she voluntarily participated in a research project conducted by a final-year PhD student at the same university. The research project focused on examining the relationship between mothers from diverse ethnic backgrounds and their babies. she conducted various interviews with families as part of the research.

In 2015, she received Child-Centered Play Therapy training from Birgül Emiroğlu, a Specialist Clinical Psychologist from the Play Therapies Association. she successfully completed this training process.

Between 2015 and 2016, she completed training sessions on "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Application in Depression Treatment" and "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Application in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment," as well as "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Application in Anxiety Treatment," provided by Dr. Emel Stroup. Subsequently, during her time at the university in the UK, he utilized the knowledge she partially acquired through these trainings in her research work and also shared this information during classroom knowledge transfers.

In January 2019, she traveled to the city of Cologne in Germany and worked for 3 months under the umbrella of the Social Pediatrics Center at the University of Cologne, with a child who had developmental delay. she collaborated with Healing Therapists, Sensory Integration Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Music Therapists. After returning to Turkey, She worked as a play therapist in various institutions. Additionally, she conducts psychometric assessments using commonly used psychological tests with children.

Since 2020, she has been working as a specialist clinical psychologist at NPIstanbul Brain Hospital in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit.
