Prof.Dr. A. Oğuz TANRIDAĞ

Prof. Dr. Oğuz TANRIDAĞ A was born in Ankara on October 17, 1951. He attended Istanbul University Medical School and graduated in 1975. After graduating from medical school, he served in the flying units of the Turkish Air Force from 1976 to 1979 as part of his mandatory service. After his service, he completed a specialisation in the Department of Neurology from 1979 to 1982 GATA. He then completed his second mandatory service at Etimesgut Air Hospital from 1982 to 1984.

In 1984, Dr. TANRIDAĞ became a clinical researcher in the Department of Neurology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. He held this position until 1986. After returning to Turkey, he became an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at GATA from 1986 to 1987 . He was then promoted to associate professor in the same department and held this position from 1987 to 1993. Dr. [name] received the TUBITAK Incentive Award in 1989 and was promoted to professor in 1993.

Dr. TANRIDAĞ was head of the neurology department at GATA Haydarpasa from 2002 to 2006. In 2003, he was appointed Editor of the Turkish Neurology Journal, and in 2004, he was appointed Coordinator of the Cognitive Group of the Turkish Neurology Association. He also served as the Secretary of the Cognitive Group of the European Federation of Neurological Associations since 2006. He is currently working at the NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, where he has been since 2006.
