NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Becomes "The World's First Accredited Brain Hospital"
The NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, which is the application partner of Üsküdar University, was audited by JCI (Joint Commission International), the world's largest and most prestigious health accreditation body.
The NİISTANBUL Brain Hospital, which was meticulously supervised within the standard framework of close to 1300 between February 26 and March 1, 2018, was accredited for the third time with a compliance score of over 99%.
With its successes in 2015, the NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital was awarded with the title of "The World's Accredited Third Psychiatric Hospital" and succeeded this accreditation in 2018 with the title of "The World's First Accredited Brain Hospital".
JCI chief auditor Kenneth Waxman stated that NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital had a successful supervision process and stated, "This is an exceptional report. Especially when developing a new hospital and new services. You have extremely well developed processes for your psychiatric care and services. We can say that you are a center of excellence in psychiatry. You have begun to develop and engage in similar quality and safety programs within your medical and surgical processes. "
Prof. Nevzat Tarhan: "The auditing has been a significant contributor"
NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital Chairman Prof. Nevzat Tarhan also stated that the hospital passed the third JCI inspection and is one of the most instructive audits in terms of hospitals. He said, "We have got a lot of answers especially about what we can do about the future. We got the question of how we can improve ourselves. It has been a pleasant process that will never be forgotten by us. It has not been long but a short week. I thank you very much. We will continue to make positive contributions to our work here."
