Aziz Görkem ÇETİN

He was born in Ankara in 1990. He completed his primary education at Özel Aydın Anadolu Koleji, his middle school education at Çankaya İlköğretim Okulu, and his high school education at Anıttepe Lisesi. He graduated from Okan University Psychology Department with an "Honors Certificate." He completed his master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University, where he examined the relationship between Decision-Making Processes and Cravings in Substance Addiction in his thesis. In addition to his professional career, he received theater training at Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi. He also took diction lessons from Mehpare Çelik and Rüştü Asyalı. As part of the "Beynini Çalıştır Kendini Yenile" (Train Your Brain, Renew Yourself) Project supported by the ISTİKA 2015 Innovative Istanbul Financial Support Program, he conducted clinical interviews and administered tests during January 2016. He completed "Holistic Psychotherapy Training" (a 3-year training consisting of 1080 hours covering all psychotherapy approaches, including theory, formulation, and supervision) from Dr. Tahir Özakkaş, "Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy" training from Prof. Dr. Hakan Türkçapar, "Schema Therapy" training from Alp Karaosmanoğlu, "EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)" training from Emre Konuk, and "Emotion-Focused Therapy" training from Leslie Greenberg. He has also participated in numerous trainings, conferences, and workshops.

Aziz Görkem ÇETİN, who believes that the psychological structure, problems, and needs of each client are unique, adopts an integrative approach called Holistic Psychotherapy, which incorporates various psychotherapeutic techniques. In his sessions, he applies Dynamic Psychotherapies (such as Transferential Focused Therapy, Masterson Approach, Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy, etc.), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Relational Psychotherapy approaches.

He is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association (TPD) and the Psychotherapy Institute Association.

Aziz Görkem ÇETİN is currently enrolled in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Arel University. Since 2014, he has been working in the adult unit at NPİSTANBUL Hospital and also teaches at Üsküdar University. He applies an integrative psychotherapy approach, specifically focusing on Whole Person Psychotherapy, in the treatment of issues such as Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, and Personality Disorders in adults.
